Report from the Amazon

Why, anyone by just giving you a cup of water in my name is on our side.
Count on it that God will notice.
Mark 9:41 (Message)
I returned from the Amazon region a few days ago. We are always thinking of strategies to follow-up with the people we are called to serve. You can read about our follow-up strategies in a post Crack or Clean Water. Please read the short stories below about our latest experiences.
Meet Isabele
blindladyhealed
Christ is amazing and His mercies are new every day. Isabel is learning to walk this truth out in her life. We met her in March while partnering with Project Hope International and Justin Meyer. She was nearly blind and Jesus restored her sight! She was so grateful that we returned to follow-up with her. Her water filter is in use and her love for the Father grows everyday.
Meet Maria
Maria was ecstatic to see us! She quickly volunteered to tell her story of her whole household using the water filters we delivered in March and how their health is improving everyday from being able to drink clean, safe water. Her story doesn’t stop there. Our friend Justin had prayed for her 6 months prior. He prayed for everyone of her family members by name to come to a relationship with Christ. She was so pleased to announce to us that every person Justin prayed for has been set free from bondage. Every single one in just 6 months! God is faithful and she was so grateful.
Meet Gustavo and Debora Maradei
Kelly (Translator) Gustavo, Debora and Tom
This is some exciting news. We are partnering with Gustavo and Debora to advance our water filter project. I have known them for a couple of years and am blessed to call them friends. I have watched the way they minister to the people of the river and am more than convinced their hearts overflow for His kingdom to come in the Amazonas as it is in heaven. Bernice and I have witnessed them respond honorably in the face of adversity and know they carry a purity about them that pleases the Father. Will you commit to praying for them? They are full time missionaries and on the front lines. They will be our boots-on-the-ground for our projects in the Amazonas. I will have more information about them in a future newsletter.
